As a photographer I seek to bring a pure, unaltered view on the beauty of life in every image I capture. Whether I'm photographing a wild flower on the edge of a field or capturing an awesome sunset, I want nothing less than to showcase the awesome works of a Magnificent God -- my Heavenly Father -- and to share with others my love for nature and the Creator of it all.
Through my mother's influence I grew fond of photography at quite a young age. It seems just like yesterday I was begging Mom to lend me her film camera to take 'just a few pictures' of the animals and scenery around our farm. It would only take me a few minutes to go through an entire roll of film and it seemed that no matter how great I thought those photos were going to be, 99.9% of the time the developed pictures were never as pleasing to the eye as I had imagined. I didn't begin calling myself a photographer until after the purchase of my first digital (Canon) camera in the spring of 2008. It was then that my eye for photography seemed to focus and I finally felt that my talent for photography could not only take off but improve and grow. Ever since getting into digital photography my love for wildlife and the amazing, natural beauty of the great outdoors has only rooted itself deeper and deeper within me.
As a born again Christian, I have surrendered to God's calling for me to be a missionary. This calling is a higher calling than photography, it is a calling to share the gospel with a specific group of people anywhere my Lord leads me to. I am first of all called to be a missionary where I am now, but one day the Lord will lead me into the next chapter in my life and will show me who He wants me to share the gospel with and minister too. No matter where that leads me. I will go anywhere for the furtherance of the gospel.
I am so at peace and have such indescribable joy and happiness to be a part of God's plan to share the gospel with the world. So that all may hear of Jesus Christ saving grace! Thank you for viewing my photographs of God's beautiful creation!
May God bless you all,
Nathaniel
